At Spotlight Ukraine, we’re on a mission to support the Ukrainian people and a secure, sovereign, and prosperous Ukraine—and to help preserve Ukraine’s unique cultural identity—through the power of storytelling, advocacy, and collaboration with those who stand with Ukraine.

We pursue this mission through the following focus areas:

Sharing stories that matter
Spotlight Ukraine is a platform for authentic, human-centered storytelling—from Ukrainians on the ground, volunteers, aid workers, and members of the diaspora. These stories bring to life the impact of war, the strength of Ukraine’s people, and the global efforts being made in solidarity.

Supporting the Ukrainian people through awareness and advocacy
We spotlight those who are working to make a difference—especially individuals and organizations supporting civilians, children, veterans, and frontline volunteers. By sharing their stories, we help drive awareness, connection, and action.

Preserving and promoting Ukrainian culture
We highlight Ukraine’s vibrant and enduring cultural identity—from language and traditions to music, art, and design. Through blog content, cultural features, and curated resources, we aim to protect and celebrate what is under threat.

Launching cultural initiatives that foster connection
We are developing projects that help people—especially those outside the Ukrainian community—experience, connect with, and fall in love with Ukrainian culture. Through efforts such as curated directories of Ukrainian artists, artisans, designers, and cultural resources, we aim to build greater appreciation and inspire deeper support for Ukraine through its creative and cultural richness.

Elevating the work of nonprofits and grassroots efforts
We use our platform to bring visibility to nonprofit organizations, community-led initiatives, and global campaigns that are providing critical support to Ukraine. By raising awareness of their work, events, and needs, we help connect people with ways they can meaningfully contribute.
